Tachometer Screws

2005 R50

Here's a longshot. I am going to build a phone mount that screws to the back of the tach. I will need longer screws. Anyone happen to know the size and thread pitch of those screws? (Yes, this is lazy, I can take one out an measure, but here I am sitting at work)

You can get the part number from realoem.com although not sure how easy it is to determine actual bolt size from that. You can scoot over to newtis.info and they might show the actual sizes, especially if it is in the list of torque specs.

Mine is 3rd gen so I just pulled the bolt and went shopping, probably not the same size.

Thank you, yeah, I think I will just pull it and head to the hardware store.

@richas If you decide not to build it, we've got you covered here.

Post pics when you have it built! Would love to see it!

For what it's worth, the Alta gauge pods use a standard machine screw which works great. When I built my phone mount I found longer (and stainless) at home depot.
