I need to remove screws that attach the tach on my 2004 MCS in order to install the CravenSpeed 'Bracket X' for my NUVI mount. Can someone tell me the spec of that screw head, since I'm having a hard time? Is it hex head or Torx? Size? TIA.

 

don't remember the size. But these suckers are all over the car, so get a set of Torx drivers. If you do any work on the car, you WILL need them.

theyre def. torx...as with a lot of things in the car like Matt said. believe those are a t-15 or 20....not for certain though... I bought a set from walmart. small enough for dash screws, and large enough for seatbelts and seats.

 

FYI, it turns out to be a Torx 25.
