Thought of a good one is a member that has a R50 and a thread on modding it. If he does not chime in here, suggest you send him a PM.

 

Sent a PM to him. Lot's to do with an R50. Currently my old house needs work that is taking (unfortunately) priority now. Plus in about a 4 weeks I will be taking a month off to tour New Zealand and Australia... so that is taking time and money.

 

Just don't be expecting to set the woods on fire with a huge HP/Tq increase unless you've done some serious mods. Had mine done years ago at a RMW Tuning Day and while I only gained 7 peak HP and 7 peak ft/lbs of torque there were areas within the curve that I gained 15 ft/lbs so I was happy, as I knew going in I wasn't going to be gaining HP like the "S" cars that day...I had a DDM CAI and Megan Racing cat back..

 

@N2MINI - that is essentially what I told Ankersen21. For R50's to get the big gains, it's pretty much a whole new engine and transmission making a fully build race engine. Lots of money. But would be, should be fun to do.
