Turbo kit for R52 Mini Cooper 2007?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there's a turbo kit for my R52 `07 Mini Cooper convertible? If there is one, is it ok to install it or will it wear out any parts quickly? Stella (my Mni) has already 128,000 miles but is in perfect shape and I intend to keep her forever, since I am starting to collect Minis.

Any suggestions about this? Experience?

Many thanks! :-)

Here's Stella:

There isn't a "proven" turbo kit for the 1st Gen Cooper.

You would need to build an engine to put a turbo on a non S as the crank, rods, and pistons are not forged like the S.
