Real Sport button added

eBay got me a Sport button and a bit of wiring.

Quickly added it to my console, ran the wires to the electronic module (2wires), and now I have my DSC button back and new sport button with Led.

40 bucks.

Thank you nam forum for providing me that one pic of the wiring schematics!

HI Nutsofamily,

can you show me what you did you get

1 - did you get the factory button(just the button or the whole kit?)

2 - "ran the wires to the electronic module (2wires)" what module is it? is it the one come with the above factory kit?

I always want to make a factory look....instead of using the DSC button.

thanks,

I bought from ebay an assembly that had the Sport button.

Took it out, and wired 2 wires from it to the module (passenger footwell) where the DSC pin was moved.

This thread helps.

It would appear so.
I was lucky enough to have the wiring (2 inches) still attached to the sport button when I bought it, and matched up the colors.
Yes, those were the pins i connected.

I'm a little confused, did your mini not come with a sport button, or is this something different from factory spec?

No, sport is an option but can be wired by disconnecting DSc button and swap pins or but sport button and add wire to module, code with NSs expert.

Wow, I never knew that. Mine has it, but I don't remember picking it as an option.

OP can you post up the wiring colours that come from the Sport button and to which points in the passenger kick panel in case some of us buy a switch that's missing the wires?
