Nitrous....? (Justa)

So...thinking about a few things to do with my Justa. Was wondering, anyone ever put nitrous on one just to play around with? I mainly want to play on the parkways, and AutoX every once in a while... but i think a Skinny bottle of nitrous might be fun if i ever went to the drag with my friends on some nights...

would the Justa handle it? 2009 Justa with 39k on it...

Thoughts? Anyone done it yet?

How much will you give it? a 50 shot or so? I don't see it being a huge help or worth the risk but hey its your car.

Several people tried to put a 50 shot in a justa early on, with the same results: a blown motor. Maybe somebody succeeded that I didn't hear about but I would recommend avoiding it. If you want to make power with your MINI: switch over to a S. It'll be a lot easier.

Ok, that's what I was looking for. Some cars can do it, some can't

And it's kinda hard to just switch to an S.... Lots of money involved to just switch cars

I was going to do it, bought a ZEX kit, and a dimsport to properly tune it. Then I realized how much it would be to actually tune it. Also, with nitrous you have to realize you are going to burn through spark plugs( even after you adjust to a colder hear range) quite quickly. So besides the risk to the motor( weaker rotating assembly then an s), and possible issues with the clutch if its a stick, changing plugs after every time at the strip,(40-60 bucks if you get lucky unless someone has found cheaper plugs that fit, the autolites that come up at the parts store don't fit) plus the price to refill the bottle, and maybe getting into the 15's with it, it just wasn't worth it to me after thinking long and hard about it. Especially for my daily driver. Of you want to pull the trigger on it it would be awesome to see, but for me, it just wasn't worth it. If you still want to pull the trigger, I'd be more then happy to sell you my dimsport.

If you want to spray go get a 1st Gen. I know a guy that has been spraying his for years with little to no problems.
