Modding ideas for PS?

I'm looking for a little bit of a change. 2003 PS/B.

Right now my "modding" is a steering wheel coverage cause the wheel is trashed and a Pikachu decal on the rear windshield. Fancy, right?

So I'm looking for ideas. I'm open for anything relatively easy and budget friendly. I'd really like to do things myself. It's more fun that way. My big thing right now is wanting color or at least spice it up a little. The car's too blah with everything just black or silver. How can I add color without it being too difficult to do myself?

I've considered painting the interior plastic components but I'm afraid of messing it up.

Since its a ten year old car that ill likely run to the ground, I'm not worried about mods affecting resale value.

No performance. Just design mods. Oh and no pink. I'm a purple & blue kind of girl. Ill either play off the pikachu theme or ill go in a new direction. So any ideas?

I have never even heard of that but now that I've googled, that seems like a great idea.

Vinyl stickers are usually fairly inexpensive and you can get any custom cut you want. I have a black checker pattern on the lower 4 inches on my sides.. they're 1" squares at the bottom and get thinner (but still 1" wide) as the rows go up.. my buddy did it for me for free, but said that he wouldn't have charged more than $50 to do it for someone. He also blacked out my chrome belt line below the windows with black vinyl as well. made a huge difference to the way it looks.

As Viper mentioned, plasti-dip's a pretty great idea, too. As cheap as doing vinyl and also as easy to remove when you're ready to. all you've got to do is peel it off. It also comes in spray cans or quart/gallon sizes (that can be put into a paint sprayer like you might get at Home Depot or some place like that). I'm actually considering painting my whole car with plasti-dip pretty soon (army olive green body, flat black trim, neon hunter orange roof and side mirror covers).. last time I priced it I think it was going to run somewhere around $250 for all the materials and tools needed (to do all 3 different colors). A guy I know at a shop around the corner from me did all of the chrome trim on his Nissan Titan with flat black plasti-dip from a spray can and it looks great and has held up well for over 8 months.
