I have a 2005 Cooper R50.
Yesterday my passenger side door lock will not lock or unlock using my key...my after market alarm...or my lock or unlock button.
Does anyone have an idea of what is going on?

Lately my door handle stays out when you open the door. The door will latch but sometimes the handle will stay out.

I am clueless when it comes to taking apart anything so I would not even know where to begin to take the door apart. Any help is appreciated.
