I didn't want to do a CAI, so I went with a MiniMania Air Cleaner and this...

And got this...


The sound is awesome and I've got a sportier pedal...a WIN in my book!!

Yeah I'm still considering getting the intake tube from VIP, but it would really to be clean up the engine bay. So can't quite justify the cost. Also, I'd like to paint it red to match K&N box now.

Looks good though!

Wow you did a great job! I have the exact same box for my base, and I was thinking about removing the box and letting the cone filter sit in the stock tub (which I can't seem to find in your setup?).
