R56 non S... Sport button vs air intake vs sprint booster.

Mini cooper non S drivers, I need your comments/feedback;
I currently drive a 2011 mini cooper the one with a 121hp...
Does anyone have some knowledge, experiences, results regarding air intakes for the non s particularly later models 09-11. I plan on adding one more mod to my car and maybe one of the 3 items I mentioned in the title. My concern is that an air intake will only yield results which are barely noticed and the sprint booster may only due what the sport button already does in terms of throttle response. What do you folks think? maybe my questions are redundant and I should just leave it alone?
Thanks...

I can't speak to the late models as I have an '06, but I'll put in my two cents anyway. I have driven an '08 and a '10 so I have some idea about the sport button.

I have a CAI (aFe, love it.) and the SprintBooster. The SprintBooster makes the pedal more responsive immediately and I find it is a big improvement in driveability. It makes getting the revs up quicker which makes the car feel faster, and it makes for much easier rev matching on downshifts. In my opinion it's over and above what the Sport button can do, especially set to the highest sensitivity. The only downside is the cost, at $300 it's not cheap, considering it probably has a pretty low manufacturing cost, but it does what it's supposed to do, and I enjoy the car more with it.

The CAI is a great mod, it adds a little torque and horsepower. It sounds great when under hard acceleration and especially above 4000RPM. Pulls harder in the higher rev range as well. There is an increase in throttle response but it can't do what the SB does which is make that first few inches of pedal travel functional. After installing the CAI combined with the SprintBooster I feel like my car is a lot more fun

Good luck only doing one mod, I said the same when I ordered my 19mm rear sway bar.. now I'm planning out exhaust, header, springs, camber plates..

just as a general rule of thumb, it doesn't matter what car it is: adding an air intake will change your perception of throttle response due to the amplified feedback of the air intake.
how does that compare to a device that tells the car's computer you pressed on the gas pedal harder than you did? I can't say for myself but there are numerous sprint booster threads.

great replies... I hope more of you will chime in with what ever comment you have! So, I am really leaning towards a air intake, VIP custom parts makes one specifically for the 2011 non S $229.00 delivered. I have a K&N drop in Filter now but.... "Hmmm"
