where can you put your ballasts for the hid kit? i am working with electrical tape btw.

 

So all your connections are being made with electrical tape? Are you mounting your ballast with electrical tape as well? You are seriously playing with fire here if this is the case.

Now to answer your question, anywhere you can fit them without being too close to anything hot or wet.

 

i mounted mine right under the headlights like where the bumper comes up, people used double sided tape and taped it there too, but mine came with the mounting stuff so yeah ahah g'd luck.

 

The best place to mount is where OEM ballasts would be located... right on the headlight units themselves. Keep the wiring length to a minimum... Do not mount anything with electrical tape. Electrical connections NEED crimp or butt connectors or at least solder at minimum !!
