Why would you get pulled over for having a tow hook?

 

not sure they would per se, but coming from the VW modifying scene where the police seemed extra eager to pull you for too much camber, poke etc etc i wanted to check if this was a legal thing.
thinking about it though, people drive with tow bars on the back so i can't think why it's be a problem, other than a risk to pedestrians, thats why jaguars dont have he cat logo on the bonnet anymore, so may be something to do with that....any i digress....Nice car mate!
