MiniDoMore Hitch Install Review

I installed my MiniDoMore hitch yesterday on my 2009 Justa. It went very smooth. The most difficult part was undoing the fasteners within the wheel well. They are the kind that go in easy but are a pain to remove. The quality and workmanship of the hitch were top notch. I did have to "massage" the muffler heat shield as the hitch extended down lower and was interfering with it. This wasn't mentioned in the instructions but was no big deal. It was like a tin tray for catering food.

My only mission now is to figure out a way to make the rear fog light blank off be easily removeable to access the hitch. I will update once I figure this out.

I will be using my hitch for a bike rack. I order the Thule T2.

BTW-It seems Curt Mfg now makes a hitch for the Mini at a substantially lower price. Its around $135.

Wow! Keep us informed as I also have a 2009 Justa Cooper and was wondering about the Rear Fog.

Has anyone with an R56 LCI (2010 and up?) with rear fog light installed one of these hitches? I have a 2013 with rear fog and am unclear how I can install this hitch and still keep my fog light.

just a heads up- we recently changed our business name and website to www.MNIdoMore.com to satisfy a trademark issue with MINI. Same great product, same great service, just one less "I" in the name!

Anyone? I looked under my rear bumper and the foglight housing extends a good 1.5" back from the bumper fascia. Would I still be able to snap it back in once this hitch is installed?

the prices I see are more than double that, ... the wiring kit and drawer bar add more.
