I decided to upgrade my exhaust on my 04 mini, I ended up putting in two glass packs and a new tip. The new tone is amazing, around town ist pretty mellow, but once you down shift and step on it it opens right up and roars. I give it two thumbs up, i went out on limb to try it and it was worth it.

What's a glass pack?

 

a glass pack is a type of muffler that lets air pass straight through the center of the tube. they are also called cherrybombs. creates less back pressure on the engine enabling more horse power. I will post pictures and a video shortly

doesn't less back pressure translates in less power at higher speeds?

Over here in my country it's much more frequent the high speeds(160kmh\180) or top speeds(200 and over) than drag's....

By the way.. i am also looking for an exhaust, i have the obx header with no cat with the stock exhaust system...

I want a better exhaust but i am afraid that without the cat i will have a very loud system and that i cannot have since i use my car every day!
