M550 A/S is Ultra High Performance All Season tire
Treadwear 360
Tirerack ratings 8.0/7.4 Ride and noise Comfort

As tires age they get hard and noisy. The M500 should be comfortable enough compared to the M550 A/S.

I did a spreadsheet of a few that had good tread ratings/price/performance/reviews for 15", would only cost slightly more for 16. Had to embed it into a .doc to attach. I really like the KDWs tread pattern over anything I've seen out there.
