To all of the Filipinos in the MINI community... does anyone know who the main relief organizations are that are trying to help with the massive emergency efforts going on in Manila after the devastating floods caused by Typhoon Ketsana/Ondoy ???

According to the articles... a month worth of rain fell in 12 hours, causing the worst calamity in 40 over years. the death toll is expected to rise above the current level of 250... more water was dumped on the area as compared to Hurricane Katrina... if anyone has a link for the organizations, please post.

as far as I know, I had no family members who live in the area, were impacted by this... luckily my parents returned to the States from there before the storms hit.
