British Racing Green Owner's Club

This is only my 2nd post, but I couldn't help but notice that Clubman doesn't have a BRG Owner's Club thread yet, so here it is! I won't get mine for another 9-10 weeks, but of course it's already the only thing I think about. I'd love to see any pictures of these that people have (especially if they match my configuration - Clubman S w/ Silver roof). So c'mon and join in!

Excellent! I'm very tempted to post a link to someone's flikr site, but will control myself because I'm sure he'll find this thread and give you his link.

Just ordered a BRG/BLK...I'm from the NY/CT area and have been told late May. While you're waiting for BRG folks to post, check out this thread on another site - and you'll see your version, as well as a BRG/BRG http://www.mini2.com/forum/mini-club...roll-call.html

I'm shy!

But this'll show you lots of Clubmen, including the one I think Otra means!

(Well done for the BRG part of your spec anyway!)

Thanks for posting all of these links to other threads and photos! In my incessant surfing this past week, I think that I've seen everything that's been mentioned here, but it'll be a great resource for anyone who hasn't. Of course, I'll be sure to post a picture of mine once I get it.

Driveblind, your baby will be beautiful. Other than a few details like mine being a base model and the rims, I had mine pretty much set up like your Clubbie. However, I arrived at the dealer last week and I saw mine in the showroom ready for pickup. I looked around really fast because I ordered the bonnet stripes and this one didn't have them. My MA says that I didn't order them. Too late to install them now. I got the invisi-shield and I don't want to install over that. But again, your baby will look really good.

Hi Driveblind, this is my first post! I ordered a BRG/Silver Clubman on Feb. 15. It went into production on Feb.23, was completed on Mar.1. and "awaiting transport" Mar. 2. I checked this morning and "Wilbur" is booked on the "Otello" Mar. 5, arriving NY Mar. 14. So things are moving right along, much faster than my MA predicted. Where did you get the BRG Clubman for your signature? Mine is coming with a checkerboard roof and mirrors and I would like to add them to whatever signature I come up with. I went to the sig-o-matic and it assumes you have an photo to add. I can't seem to save the illustration from the configurator. I guess I have a lot to learn. Thanks for any help.

I just took a screenshot of the configuration that I put together at miniusa.com. Congrats on the new MINI - I hope you post some pictures of it here once you get it.

Attachment 29921 is a photo of a Cooper Clubman BRG/BLK that just rolled into my dealership MINI of Fairfield County. If I knew how to post a larger photo, I would. Thought some of you might like to see it.

It seems that if you click on it you do get a larger view.

Otra, very nice. I think that is the first one I have seen. I live in a desert area and that black roof would make it too hot. Also, if a white roof was available, I would have gotten that. Just like my '05 BRG/W MC had. I still can't wait to see one in person.

I understand about the black roof and heat, and I do think that both the silver and the BRG roof also look very good. I bet in your desert light that silver might just look white sometimes.

Your Clubman is here, yes? or are you still awaiting it?

Just to be clear, the BRG/BLK I posted is not mine - it's too well "loaded" for my pocketbook, though I am going to go take a look at it just to make myself feel good.

I got mine on February 21st and I have about 900 miles on it now. But you're right, in certain light, the silver is a little blown out making it look white.

Well, congratulations upon your recent delivery and may you have many happy miles together! They really do seem to be very nice cars.

Thanks for the screenshot advice, Driveblind. Now let's see if I did it right. Wilbur is supposed to be loaded onto Otello right about now. Otello sails tomorrow, Thursday.

Munjoy Mini - looks great! I see that you're in Maine. From which dealer did you order Wilbur?

MunjoyMini, I got mine in Peabody, as well. My MA is Ed, although the first MINI drive I took 4-5 years ago was with Hrach. He's a pretty wild guy, but in a good way. It was great to gun that Cooper S up Route 1 at 90 mph with him egging me on all the way - "Shift now! Shift! Brake, brake, shift!!"

On the link below, there are a couple of a BRG/B MCCS images with the aero kit. It has black bonnet stripes and looks too good. I was at the Denver Mini dealer a couple of days ago when I saw it there in the showroom. I'm sorry they are dark and there aren't any from the direct side but the showroom was mini.

Yes, I saw those. Thanks for posting here. I thought some people who'd recently picked up their Clubmen (just can't say "their Clubman") had BRGs. Sometime in May I'll be sure to post my own.

It's Munjoy who I was expecting to post.

Otra, sorry I'm late but here are some photos of "Izzy", short for Issigonis. Took delivery yesterday, Saturday, and just love how the car (cah up here in Maine) drives. He's parked in the garage until Tuesday when I will register him. There are four more photos at Open Up Otello. This website will not let you post the same photos in two different places.

Thank you - Izzy looks beautiful, especially in the snow in front of his garage! I'm guessing you've named him after Alec Issigonis, but I will admit that I had to research that. Lovely tribute and great looking Clubman.

I think that the BRG/Silver looks especially nice in the snow.

P.S. Yes, I just discovered that oddity about the photos on NAM last night myself.

P.S.S. Definitely let Izzy jump into that pool that David's pointed out.

That looks great...very close to what I ordered and from the same dealership! Mine is scheduled to finish production this Tuesday and then it's the long wait while it crosses the Atlantic.
