I have a 1983 classic mini, imported years back. A friend of a friend paid big bucks to import this gem. It has a lot of makings of a 1993 mini, the head of the motor has the numbers or identification of a metro (but I'm no expert, I just try and do my research using Google) Ppl do that to gain better compression. Good interior and head lining, but it can use a good cleaning and sprucing up. It's 1275 a+ motor and has a lot of pep. Brake Booster, disc brakes, 2 radiators one on inside fender, I can go on and on, but seeing is believing or texting is best. I started to take apart the dash, for 2 reasons, the gas gauge wasn't working which I've fixed and some crack pot did a horrible job wiring this car so I started the process of fine tuning and cleaning up as best as I can, this spaghetti of a mess, I've put back together the speedometer but some wires still need tidying up. There is a fiberglass hood on car now but I have original. There is minimal rust on this car, the only really bad spot being the floor panel underneath the drivers side, which on this car is on the right. With the proper respray and replaced panel, the car is ready for the shows I believe. Because of these nuances I'm Negotiable, the car is insured and drives great. So let's go for a spin. I won't be low balled, I love minis this is my second, I know what they are worth and what they go for and I'm honest up front and decent in my pricing. I'm always into buying and selling (especially minis) but I don't need to sell in order to buy, so low offers will get told no thank you. When I say this car is priced well you don't have to tell me I know. I got it at a decent price and I'm just basically passing along the savings, any expert will tell you, a running, titled mini in the USA starting at 5500 is great, this is much much more than that so my price leaves room for minor investment still. I'm only asking 8k, or let's make a deal
