I am finally coming back to the states after serving my six year Air Force tour in Europe (England and Germany). I have accumulated many parts and two extra Minis that have everything except the engines. If anyone would like anything then I would be more than happy to bring it back with me when I return in March 2007.

If I do not have what you are looking for in my extra parts (I have two rooms full) and the two Minis that I have used for spare parts then I can go to the local junk yard that has five more Minis. Four of them have their engines but they are all 1000cc and unknown condition.

I will be coming back to Washington State but can send via post if need be at the time. I can send parts now if waiting until March is not an option.

I just want to clarify that all the parts I have are for the Classic Mini and not for the new BMW Mini. Sorry if there was any confusion.

I also have a 1978 Mini 1000 Auto that is for sale. It requires some work but I will tell you that it it TOTALLY original. There has been no patches or panels put on or replaced on this Mini.

I am advertising this for a friend but will tell you that it runs great. He bought it from Holland and it drove like a dream all the way back down to Germany (eight hour drive). He is asking $2500 for the Mini and it is well worth that price! I would buy it myself but I will have four Minis in the states by the time I come back in March.

I have looked into shipping quotes and they were about $2300 from my home in Germany to Tacoma, Washington. This includes customs charges and transportation from my house to the shipping yards up north. Give or take a bit... this is probably a pretty good quote. The prices follow the gas prices so they are always going up and down. I just thought I would plant a seed with you all if anyone is interested. -Brandon

I will try to get some pictures of the 1978 Mini that is for sale. If you can imagine a two standard Minis with all of the standard parts then that will give you an idea of what I have for parts. I dont think a pic is needed for that but if there is any specific item you would like a picture of then I can take some. Things of interest might be:

Brake Servos and brake parts
Gas Tanks
Subframe parts
Glass
Etc.

I have one 1000cc engine and transmission that is surplus to my needs.

Dunno if you still have what I'm looking for (or if you had it in the first place) but I sent a PM anyway.

 

I still have all of my parts and they will be packed up in about two weeks. If anyone needs anything then I need to pull it outa the load of stuff now and send it. I am able to get USPS postal rates so it will be about the same price as if I shipped it from the states. Alot of times it is cheaper. I have loads of stuff from drum and disc brake setups to brake servos and wheels. I can take pictures on request. Please send me a PM if you are interested in anything and I will get back to you. If you miss your chance and want something at a later date... it will take 30 days for all of the parts to arrive at my house in the states.
