IMHO
$15,000+ = Classic Minis of significant vintage, IE REAL Cooper S' of show quality, and newly rebuilt VTEC Minis with superior conversions.

Of course, you'll find many exceptions to this and minis will be priced all over the lot.

No Matter what:
Buy the best body shell you can find for the money you can afford.
That is about the right price range for my Mini.

According to my "Mini Bible" "original Mini Cooper and Cooper S"This Mini looks to be a late model Layland Mini from the early 90's

This Mini has a 8.2 gal gas tank and the reserve washer bottle in the boot witch was introduced in 1992. But to us US residents it's a 78 Mini Cooper

Nice looking Mini. I would say under 10 k would be a good price.
Looks like it went for 9.

It looks like the Mini didn’t sell. If this is not the same car, then it must have a twin. I have not seen it, but I’ve been told by someone that saw it that its not as nice as it looks in the pictures.

good luck with search

newdl; just saw the post...confused as to time frame re: yer search...dates are old, but saw last posted as ,'yesterday'. thought i'd drop a line to you anyway. you choose on what you like and what you want to pay. i've had many, many minis over the years. some in not so great condition.

there are quite a few floating around in ohio. i'm just outa touch with most folks now. try finding a club/group in your area and listen in.

if you're doing the work on 'em...can opt for the fixer-up set of wheels. if ya gotta pay someone to do repairs, costs rise considerably. older minis are always needing something.

CPI, Cars of Particular Interest, lists prices based on actual sales...lotsa on-line info too. CPI, my local library has it available.

good luck on yer search.

i check into the site every once in awhile, and service here at my end..don't always have internet (lose it a few days every month).

unk greg, also in ohio (but more in the woods)
