Watch Help In Ohio

Hello,

I'm hunting a '76 mini. In pictures looks great, but can anybody give me a hand and take a look at it?

The vendor claims he forgot to update the date.

It's in Canal Fulton, Ohio. Area code 44614

I'll ask for new ones with the current date. Just to be sure. Do you live in the zone?

And get pix of the underbody - Sills, under the carpet, etc. - anywhere rust might be lurking. If you want to get real thorough, get a copy of Haynes Mini Restoration Manual (Porter) and read Chapter 2 (Buying). It has a checklist of things to, well, check for.

I'm from that area originally. However, I now live about 200 miles to the southwest. I AM going to be in the "realm" again at the end of the month, though, and could swing by for a look if you still want that.

PM me if that might work, ok?

Jeff

Thank you for the answers guys. I got an estimate cost for transportation and it's not doable for the moment. $3950 and still many miles from home, for sure It will cost me $1500 more. Just for shipping

Oh well; some day.

No. This mini is on auction. A transportation company quote me the $3950. I decided to wait for next year. WestPAminis looks good for my needs. They have from $5000 and today I saw another transportation company that quotes $500 to my city, the other doesn't.
