In addition most Hot Rod shops ought to know the good local custom people for AC in their area.

 

There's also Astro Air in the UK. I have one of their systems in my late spec Mini.

Thanks Fla-Keys Mini, I will check with them to see if they can ship one to the US. Did you install yours or did you have someone else do it?

 

I had someone else install it. If Astro Air cannot ship themselves, there is always Phoenix Cargo ( www.phoenix-cargo.com ). I've used Phoenix many times and they are wonderful.

On the Air Con, I'm thrilled with the system. No problems at all in 5 years of service.

 

thanks...I will look into getting an A/C with Astro Air. I live in Mississippi and it it too hot, in the summer, to drive without air. Did you have to do any other mods (radiator, fan, etc...) to accomodate the A/C unit? Did you upgrade the altenator and/or battery?
