What are bad rust areas on minis?

In a few days I am going to go look at a 1977 mini cooper.
I was wondering what places that rust out bad on the cars or anything else I should check well i have the chance.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Even if you don't see rust...assume its there on a Mini. Inspect it very carefully

dig thru this forum and you'll find a bunch of pics of Mini's in various stages of repair. esp https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=51904

I found that since buying my 79 the most used tool has been my MIG welder... body repair class was useful too.

In addition I'd look in the entre front and rear wheel well as well as around the lights and all seams.

also look to the floor where the a frame meets
