insurance premium

How much are you guys paying for your classic mini on insurance?

I've been quoted $600 annually for just liability for my 1975 built in 2000 mini sport. I am 35 with clean driving history liviing in New York.

I thought i can get insurance for $300-350 for this car.

Pls help.

Sam

Might talk to your insurance company about collector car insurance. My classic is driven less than 5K miles a year and I think I pay about $200.00 a year. What company are you with?

For classic car insurance try hagerty.com or grundy.com. But recently, I got a better deal from Aon Collector Car Insurance. You can do it online with them, too. Fewer restrictions than Hagerty and there's no mileage limitation either!

Hagerty

I have classic car insurance trough Hagerty. They do only classics and you get quite a bt more than you normally would through your regular insurance. I have my '75 insure through them and it costs me $104 a year including roadside assistance. Can't beat it.

insurance

yes this $157 includes liab. and collision

My own ins. co. Geico whom i have two other auto policies with quoted me 600 for liab. only. My only concern is in the case of an incident or claim with these smaller companies. Woud they be harder to deal with and more obstacles to face?

I think I pay $140 for my full coverage through Hagerty. I am not sure at how good they are at paying out claims.

Didn't ave any issues with them so far. I have used the roadside assistance twice and that went smooth as well.
