Its been around for a couple months now. That is not typical Mini performance. The particular car is highly modified. First it has been cut in half and shortened a bit. It also is running different size tires front to rear. Other mods would be conjecture but I'm sure engine & esp brakes are not stock.

That said, a classic can be pure joy in the handling dept when set up properly.

Note the larger front wheel- I'd say it is a "stunt" Mini. (stunted??)
No not "typical" classic mini performance.
They should film Italian Job three with that Mini in mind.

That Mini was set up for autotest and has several modifications such as individual fly e-brakes for the turns and straight-cut gearbox (unmistakable whine), along with modifications that other people have mentioned. The hole in the door is actually to aid in seeing the cones. It has also been lightened and large wheels installed in the front for big brakes. Anybody who has used a classic for autotest or autocross knows that a stock one is nearly as impressive!
