Wow, guess you could say you're Comfortably Numb!

An old VW driver, (unencumbered by heat in my '67 bus, '68 camper, and '71 "Super" Beetle) from way back,

Add my 1978 Renault 5 to the 'no heat' list...bundle up and hope for an early spring!

Your 71 Super didn't have heat? Mine does.. ... It manages to warm my left ankle (and only my left ankle) pretty well in fact.

kewl sig Mr V

MrV,

Lovely bug pages, <insert Wayne's World "we're not worthy" gestures here>.

It's fun to remember "moving" from Cincinnati to Chicago 13 yrs ago, with the blue '71 bug/U-Haul truck convoy, thru the Indiana blizzard! I Know I married the right girl - she was the one driving the Beetle! I should have fixed the windshield wipers prior to moving day though. Where was "Pimp My Ride" when I could used it!

How did it die? Frame got rust-cancer, right in the middle, and started to split, to the point where I couldn't shift! (and no fat guy jokes allowed, i'm only 200 pounds).

I "committed" her to "Spencer's Home for Battered Bugs" in good conscience, to a very interested VW mechanic.

LIfe goes on - I think in Nirvana, VW buys MINI from BMW (ok yeah I have had a couple adult beverages),

Tatt
