Hi all! After *cough*7*cough* years I've finally got my Mini on the road again. (You know, mostly. I've still got a ton of stuff to do, of course.)

One of my first tasks is to fix the seats. Both front seats rock back and forth unnervingly. They also don't slide, putting me in a fairly uncomfortable driving position. I've never seen (in real life or a couple of days of google searches) seats that attach like mine. (I've attached photos, hopefully.)

I can't afford new seats, so I'm either going to buy new tracks that slide and fit the current seats to them somehow or buy new tracks and used seats.

So I guess my question is what is your experience with Mini seats? Any aftermarket seats that are less than $500 and fit? I've read on UK forums that 90s Mini seats are a good replacement, but imagine I won't be able to find any of those here in Texas. I'm thinking of searching junkyards for MG/Triumph seats, maybe Miatas.
