10" Tires for a '79 Mini 1000
The original ('59) Mini's had bias-ply 5.20x10 but soon after radials started appearing - from major manufacturers like Dunlop, Michelin, Goodyear - in 145 SR 10's on 3 1/2" to 4" rims; The Cooper's and S's had 4 1/2" rims and aftremarket rims showed up in 5" and 6" with 165/70 - 10 tyres in higher-speed ratings (HR and VR).
Check Mini City Ltd. and MiniMania for what's available ... and if you find a set of 13" rims, there are Yoko's (and others) in 175/50 - 13's that fit too!

One of the most popular (and fairly inexpensive) tires for this size wheel is from Kumho in a 145 / 80-10 as long as you're not worried about the tires being "absolutely" period corect. I believe Minimania has these available for order online.See them here
I've got Falcons, but for easy ordering, Tire Rack has Yoko A008s
