WTB: 68-75 Mini that can be Restored!!!
Hey all, I am looking for a Mini in the years of 68-75 that either needs to be fully restored or partially restored. I am in Minneapolis, Minnesota and I am hoping someone out here knows of where I can find one or if someone has one I could buy for a cheap price. It can either be a left or right side drive, and it doesn't necessarily have to be an "S" If you can be of any help please Private message me or drop me an email! Rossingnal@aol.com
Thanks, Brian!

Look for the best shell you can find - read no rust. Everything else can be replaced but beware, parts are not cheap. I paid $7,500 for my last "project" and have put another $15,000 into the restoration. I could have bought a much nicer finished Mini for much less than the total but I like working on them more than I enjoy driving, so the fun for me is in the project and not the finished product. If you are looking for an inexpensive route to a classic, a restoration is not the answer. If you want to take pride in your own work and don't trust anybody else to do it, join the club! If you want to totally start from scratch and can find a rust bucket parts car for super cheap, fiberglass or Heritage shells are available brand new. They are quite pricey, though. Good luck.

>>Thanks~! For the start~~!!!
There is a Shell on ebay for 400 bucks.. when I say shell.. I mean all you get is the body.. but you can sand blast, clean up any rust, replace what's needed then start getting parts for a complete build up.
