I have yet to see a stanced classic. Probably wouldn't work well at all mainly because you are losing a lot of maneuverability and in the wheel wells I don't think there is any room to angle the wheels in - they would rub on the inboard side of the well. As for the rear wheels, the suspension movement is different than on the new MINIs. On a New MINI the suspension isn't just an up and down movement so if you lower the car the wheels angle inward. For my knowledge at least, you can't do that with a classic.
Yes that's true. However the stanced scene is not all about a huge amount of negative camber though. Maybe I should rephrase it, are there some nice pictures of classics with "perfect fitment" as they say :d ? Think about dougiemc's mini for exemple.
Can you define stanced, I got ragged on in another forum about the same topic. Are you basially talking about a lowered car with the wheels tucked or even with the arches/wheel well?
Not quite sure what you mean .................but if you mean lowered and neg cambered then here's mine..............
Its lowered with minisports Ajustaride kit and has 1.5deg neg camber front and rear...........
