Chassis number
Chassis number
Hi guys,
I've been having difficulty understanding the chassis number with my car. From my recent study, I believe it to be legit but it's a little confusing. Mine matches up to a 74+ car but it ends in the letter N instead of say A for Longbridge for an english build mini. What i'm trying to confirm is weather or not it is a CKD car, english built but shipped to and completed in New Zealand at the Nelson plant. Does anyone happen to know how the Chassis numbers were done on CKD cars? Was the numerics on the chassis and the last letter given by the plant in NZ hence the N at the end?
Thanks guys

All cars built in England from 74 to80 would have an A for Longbridge.
