Everyone is invited to come and watch the classics Minis at the Coronado Speed Festival Vintage Races.
3 of the Mini Mania Minis will compete in group 4 with another 4 classic Minis and host of Porsches, Alfas, MG, Sprites, etc.

Come out and show your support!!

 

My wife and I drove from Phoenix to watch some of the event. IIRC correctly Don, you qualified first. Did you end up finishing first in the race? We had to leave before Sunday's race so we never heard who won group 4.

 

Would love to see this! Might be a bit too far of a drive for me though coming from NJ Maybe sometime in the future I'll get a chance to see one of those races.

We arrived just as Group 4 was finishing qualifying Saturday so I didn't get any pictures of that. I did get tons of pictures of the Class 5 and Class 6 qualifying on Saturday (with videos) and some Class 4 practice on Sunday morning.

Sorry for the shaky video ... should have brought my monopod.
