Steering wheel
Steering wheel
I'm just wondering what steering wheels classic owners put in theirs. I plan on getting a classic once I'm out of school in the next year and thought it would be a good idea to start learning about them. Right now I'm leaning towards a Sparco 260mm competition wheel, but I'm not sure if it would fit.

Monte carlo has a great oval shape to it. I went with the hub from GBcarparts, they delivered with the best price and quickest delivery.
for the wheel you list, and any other in general, it is all about getting the right adapter boss to fit on the end of the steering wheel. Most wheels will use a standard 6 or 9 bolt attachment for the wheel to the boss (or hub) and these are available from several sources. The site you list includes "Mini Cooper Old" in the available models....
The specific wheel you have appears to be a three bolt mount but I'll leave that for you to dig into.
So far as what fits there are generally 3 answers to that question:
1. Purists and those trying to keep the car original stick with the large diameter wheel sometimes taking a step up to a wood rim
2. Old School mod'ers tend to look for a simple three spoke spoke diameter wheel, but smaller - 14 inch range. I fall into that category

3. Modern modifiers look for a modern sport wheel.
different strokes for different . . . and all that.
