Ign question

I have the pertronix distributor system in my dist but a standard ign coil...has anyone gone from standard to the flamethrower coil?any noticible difference?

I did both at once then had to set the timing. I do have to say the car runs better. Now wether it's from the coil or getting the timing right I don't know.

I had dizzy problems and I purchased a 123 dizzy and a flame thrower coil and my little beauty runs like clockwork....no more couths or spluttering.......

which one is good for the standard dizzy with the electronic ign?? ive seen different ohm's of them plus gel or stanard...id def like to bring this ign into the 21st century...i started with the elect ign...now i gotta address the coil...plus ive decided anything lucas or smiths is evil....ill go with pertronix and auto meter
