I finally sold my house and am ready to start aquiring parts for the mini build.
Stats:
'89 mini mayfair 998
'93 d16z6 (I have the complete car with wiring, etc)
custom civic ex trans with LSD and 3.25 final drive

for sure to purchase parts:
MTD kit, radiator kit, upgraded axles
pads, drilled rotors, ss lines
camber/toe kit for rear
sports pack arches & side skirts
13" wheels
Rear spring kit w/new struts
upgrade rear brakes

Maybe parts:
front spoiler
fg front end
swaybars

Questions I have:
1. Is there anything else I need on the must purchase parts list?

2. Can someone give me an accurate measurement from eye to eye of the minitec shock set for the conversion? extended and weight bearing on car? And spring diameter (inside)? Please I beg of someone. Niether minimania nor minitec can or will give me an answer. They also apparently do not know the spring rate.

3. please send me any pointers, tips, or photos of your vtec mini build. I will love you forever.

Did you ever find out the spring information on your shocks? I'm looking to pick up shocks for my MTB2 kit and would like to know what the specs are.

 

minitec won't tell you, but they'll sure sell you the parts.
