the thread about the free 1979 mini in central florida, its like 121 pages long, i tried looking but cant find it, did anyone ever get it???? or is it still up for grabs??

If you can find it... the title of the thread was altered to state that it was all a lie. "APPLE" is a fraud.

 

That lady turned out to be a complete fraud. It is discussed throughout the thread. Now it is full of randomness...

Au contraire my friend - there are MANY informational posts. Periodically, it's updated with classic Mini enthusasts showing us pics of the status of their restoration projects. Among other VERY informational stuff.

And the cliff-note lesson to be learned from the thread: watch what you put out on the web, regardless if you THINK you're sprinkling it around. The amount of personal info that thread has gathered on the fraud is amazing. Oh, yeah, and NEVER put your personal weight out on the web, and NEVER **** off a bunch of MINI enthusiasts.

Always thought there was something fishy about the poster known as "Apple". She played the "I'm independently wealthy" card a little too hard, boasting about all the expensive vehicles she's owned (something like 70 cars in 12 years, or some crazy **** like that), all the while spelling like she never finished the sixth grade. Odd. Just odd.

 

NOTES would be cheating.

And I'd like to add to the xuhohx post...

DON'T offer a FREE CLASSIC MINI if you have no intention of following through with that promise.

If you should be stupid enough and you decide to go against this advice... try to remember that when you were being a big fat "show off" with your NAV system... you posted a YOUTUBE video of it with GPS coordinates and the address to your home! Oh yeah, not a brilliant move to post pictures of your $50-$75k in cash all over your Berber carpet either.

And one more thing... if you have f'ugly feet... even "Chanel" polish can't fix that.

Just read ten pages a day for the next couple of weeks and you'll be caught up. The posting rate has slowed considerably.

I read the whole thing and could have simply checked in here.

Except I would not have known she lived in a trailer park, was and still is a prolific poster on other sites where she portends to have purchased and owns a BMW and that her Son was 25 years old and she was supposedly shopping for him a car. Plus the never ending visit from "Grandma". Nor would I have shared the birth, holidays, shapes, sizes and life stories of many people unknown to me... plus enjoyed some good musical entertainment along the way.

There is two hours of my life I will never get back.
