Actually that's not that terrible of a deal, especially since it runs. There's a mix of parts from different generations from first glance. It may be a true cooper but it definitely is not even close to original.

have to agree with strat.....i've seen less sold for more, alot of times, my original cooper shell sold for near that price, completly gutted with no front subframe

Well gee then, that's good. I hope someone is close enough to take advantage of it. Oh and I saw another posting from the same guy who said he actually has two for sale...
