I have a '75 (I think) Mini and am looking to find a badge for a spot on the lower right side of the boot lid where something was mounted in the past. There are two holes about 2 7/16" apart on center that have the small plastic inserts for pins. I have replaced the Mini 1000 badge over the license plate light with something else and would like to put a 1275 badge in the place I mentioned above since that's what will be installed soon (I hope!). So my questions are: Does anyone know what might have been in the spot previously? Do the 1275 script badges attach with pins or are they stick-on? If pins, do you know what the spacing is? Other suggestions? Thanks!

 

Hey folks, these are good questions... Somebody ought to know the answers. I loaned out my Chris Reese book, which has lots of photos, otherwise I could probably give you an idea of what badge, if any, is located on '75 vintage right rear boots. On later model Rovers, I think the 1.3 (liter) badge is there.
