Need a new battery for my Classic Mini
I can tell you from experience that the cheaper, less warrantied batteries are the exact same as the higher end, longer warrantied batteries. That statement excludes Optima batteries though. In short, go to Advance Auto or Auto Zone and get a cheapie.
just hoping to save you some time. I've been considering getting a new battery for my classic. Measured the existing battery to be 9"x8"x6" (autocraft 51-1, 435cca, 544ca).
Went to walmart and found a similar dimension battery. Everstart 56-3N. I didnt take note of the exact CCA/CA stats. I recall them to be 580cca, 600ca or something. Selling for $65.

i went ahead and just took my existing battery to Autozone and exchanged it for a new one + $12. I'll research what's the best for next time... which should be about 3 years based on the the last one.
