need help finding obscure parts!

I am in the process of building my mini the way I want it. I plan to install 13x7's with sportpack arches, and would love to do a fiberglass one or more piece standard length front end. I know minimania sells the vtec extended and I see they now also do a one piece but say it is not good fitment quality and mine must stay standard length. I also plan to do a vtec over the spring in '09.

1. Does anyone know if roguese7ens.com is still in business as the website is down? Is this the same front end that minimania sells?

2. Where can I find the complete drivers side window crank unit? Mine is there but the car was hit and it does not function properly.

3. When I do the vtec, the complete front end suspension will be new including coilovers, adjustable arms, etc. I am aware of the coil springs as cone replacements, but do not have a clue how the spring rates will match the front. Are the spax coilovers worth a darn? What should I do to the rear to make it match?

4. Poll question on which v-tec:
A) d15z1-92/97 hp/tq no tranny mods (3.25 fd) 55 mpg possible cost $1500
B) B16a2-170/130 hp/tq ($1000 extra for 3.4fd) 35 mpg reality cost $3000

DO you mean te window regulator?

That's the left side (assuming you want one for the "driver's side" on a US standard config car). If you mean RHD, check MiniMania.

As for the rest, I'd do a complete suspension makeover, frint and rear, yes. You're adding a LOT of horsepower, even with the mildest VTEC on your list.

As for which engine, I'm personally going to go for the smallest VTEC motor I can find, as I'm not interested in racing and I've heard the more powerful units are so much work to drive that the fun factor is a bit reduced. Plus, I'd rather use the $$ saved for a really nice paint job, a killer stero and a custom interior.

Plus, Mike at Aesthetic Creatios told me about his VTEC that scared his family so badly that they refused to ride in it ever again (and they were used to riding in fast cars). For me, almost 100HP seems like PLENTY, since I'd like to drive the car around as a daily driver - depending on what you want to use it for you might want more HP - it's up to you and your budget.

Why go FG? They are notoriously poor fitting and have issues. Why not buy the steel panels and build a front. I did for mine & it works a charm. Add some linear actuators to make it self opening.

imagoX--The window regulator is exactly what I needed, I just didnt know what it was called so nothing ever showed up in my searches. Thanks for that, but boy is that spendy or what!! I love your car too.

jolt freak, how much do you want if you want to get rid of it?

minimad-- I dont care if it is steel or fg. Steel will fit better so I've heard, but FG is lighter and easier to make open all at once. I just want easy access to the engine by removing the entire front end.

Better include some details of car 1989 lhd 998cc I drive this car everyday and plan to use it as an autox car also. Hence the vtec for reliability, power, and easy access to parts.
