Restorations (Japan)

so i finally went and picked up the mini from the Guy in Japan (stationed for military) who contacted me (Jake L.)......thankfully his car was in florida because trailering across the ocean wouldn't be fun for long...lol....as i promised him, im starting this thread for his restoration, and since i know everyone loves watching these builds, i will continue to post updates as i can .........this mini is in a bit of trouble......lots of rust and will be a lengthy restoration, currently we are working on another mini, and will be jumping into this green one once we wrap up the other mini project were doing.......but here are the first pics

and here is a pic of the mini on a trailer, as we got lost on the way home and got stuck in a nasty, dirty, one way Orange Grove.....gotta love florida....lol....took 1 hour to get out of this grove...

im sure Jake will sign in and say Hi and let everyone know he's watching.....Note: in final pic Jake decided to use metal tape to prevent furter rust spread by placing it in the rusty area's, the only thing this does do, is it helps take rust off in tape width stips....lol.....but hey it was worth a shoot

I saw an earlier photo of this car somewhere, maybe NAM? Anyway, I loved how it looked as a shiney, new-looking car. It will indeed look pretty when done. So, are the arches going to be black or body color? If it stays with white mirrors, white stripes, I'd go with body-color arches.
