did I read somewhere earlier in this build thread that you are on your 3rd choice of blue? Can't be for real... just joking, right? Anyway, I agree w/MINIdave, it's lookin' good.

Now that you mention it, Meno, the look of the ride height is awesome. Big question is, TTi, did you position the flares lower on the bodywork or is the ride height minimal? I know my 10's w/WP arches is apples to oranges comparo, but when mine is low enough for the same, snug fender well look, it's very easy to bottom out the front suspension. It looks like your bigger arches might allow you room to vary the positioning. I'm really liking the color.

Ride height looks so low because of the angle I took the pics from.
(best angle for a mini in my humble opinion).

Lance,
Not sure on the LSD. I talked to my tuners and they said quaife was the way to go but I havent purchased it yet.
Dont you have an extra on laying around now?

Go Quaife and never look back. Cusco makes a decent one as well but the Quiafe will never let you down. I have one on my build and you know what kind of HP Im running.

I suppose I do have an "extra" one around but I haven't laid eyes on it. It was made by Phantom Grip. There was a noticeable difference in the way the car responded but it has been so long I can't remember what was what as I was fighting three problems at the time.

Last I knew the quaife was back ordered for quite some time but that may all be different now. From the research I did at the time, quaife was what everyone said they would install if money was not a consideration.

By the way, your arches are quite a bit lower than mine...yours are where they belong. Mine were adjusted by MT to accommodate the 70 series tires.

Meno-

Phantom Grip is that aluminum-looking bar of soap that's jammed into the diff., which seems ok with my pint-sized D-series but the Quaife is definitely what I'd recommend for big daddy K's.

Don't get me wrong, several people with whom I spoke race 1/4 mie with the Phantom Grip BUT it usually was motivated out of cost savings not preference. I wouldn't have known any difference except for my car had issues and that was one of the assumptions set forth by "experts". As it turned out, nothing was actually wrong with the set up BUT it didn't track as well as it does know. The "slipping" is much smoother and more predictable.
