red or silver or black or anthracite wheels??

I am in the process of doing lots to the "new" cooper. I plan to install some 13x7 wheels with the sports pack arches and tint the windows a dark black. Some of the chrome may also be blacked out (opinions welcome). I am going with a red/black theme throughout the interior and engine bay, and I thought maybe the 13's would look cool in red also. I would like everyones opinion on my cheesy photoshop rendition idea.

I think the wheels might look pretty good if you didn't do them all red. Maybe black and red..

I would only be doing the spokes and center red with the silver polished lip. I only have 12x5's on the car now with a tiny lip, so the silver part would be larger on the 13x7's

Jeepster, I'm all about doin' cheesy photoChop renditions... It's a great way to previsualize w/out costly commitment/mistakes.

Since you asked for opinions, I'm with the others regarding "old school." I'd keep silver, or go black or anthracite. As for window tint, I'm not a fan of really dark tinting. I have a lighter and common version of tinting on my new MINI and love it--can't remember the %, though. Man, the more I think about it, you really won't like my opinion--I'd keep the 12"s and those arches. Your mini looks great!

black with a polish lip. Keep the red and black theme inside the car. As for the tint I would only do the back windows, but not to dark.

Well my car is dark green (almost black) with 13x7 with the black and red interior carpeting (tan seats and door cards)... I would say silver... the red just stands out too much... and I'm not a fan of window tint on classic minis... but if you're going to do it... I'd go way lighter, as was suggested before

I wish there was some way to paint the wheels that would wash off so that I could see it in person. It seems that I am the only person that likes the red wheels. I would do the anthracite or black wheels, but am concerned that since the wheels are only 13's that it kind of just drowns them out where the red seems to make the spokes stand out.

I also have the option of getting my wheels anodized with any color I chose. I like the bright nickel look also.

Red is too contrasting, imo. Black will be lost with the body color -no contrast. Silver is nice, traditional, and COMMON & BORING

Anthracite or a dk gray with polished lip would give a little contrast to all the black and the lip a little bling.

In the end, do what makes you HAPPY and to hell with all of us!

I'm not big on the red on that beautiful Mini. My vote is either stay silver for the classic look, or go black to match the paint.

I like the red but they do seem to pop out a lot, maybe with a red rally stripes it would tie in more?

Buy them with a polished lip and use Duplicolor Wheel paint for the anthracite.

Where I live its not even legal to tint your side windows at all. Most people do it anyway but it really afffects your visiblity at night to have limo style tint. I like the anthracite wheels and mabey matching bonnet stripes.
