Last week my friend wants to change the clutch plat
He sends his mini to the garage they took the engine out to open the Flywheel Cover
After that they found that the flywheel assembly won’t come out

Any one knows what the problem is?

Here's 3 possibilities:

Using wrong/insufficient puller?

Crankshaft in wrong position - the C shaped clip that holds the primary gear will dislodge (fall) and bind it up. Rotate it 180' & try again.

Flywheel may have been installed improperly by a prior mechanic. If it had any movement, it will have galled/welded itself to the crank. You may have to destroy it to remove it. You may need a new crank. This doesn't happen often, but is possible. I hope not for your sake.

I had one that was stuck too, turned out the primary gear was slightly twisted. It took me and 2 other guys to hold the engine and along breaker bar to finally get it to break free. A new gear and new clutch and was good to go. Good luck!!

I had a similar situation pulling the flywheel from my 1275 pre-verto. We put quite a bit of torque into the puller and let it sit for several days, but no joy. Then after one fairly solid tap on from a heavy hammer the whole assembly jumped about a foot and a half from the block. Wish I had a photo of the surprise on everyone's face, but all was well!

Check position of crank - should be at #1 & #4 cyls @ TDC so the primary gear C-shaped thrustwasher does not get hung up...

if your garage does not how to take it out, they don't know what they're doing.
