It is a '98 BRG Mini w/ sportspack, porcelain green leather interior, wood dash and door caps w/ 22k miles. I'm the third owner and purchased it for my wife for her birthday. Very clean. I added the bonnet stripes, but it completely stock otherwise. Can you guess my location?

You did fine. I received some very specific answers. After the first couple, I kind of expected a very vague one like - uh, Earth. I'm still relatively new to the board, but with a lot of reading and suggestions provided here on which Mini reference material to buy, I bought this car. I'll post some more detailed pix later.

 

Unfortunately not. It will definitely not be a daily driver either. It's a shame that I won't be able to bring it back stateside. I'll have to find another older model and sell this in a year (hopefully four) when I return from my tour.

 

Thanks! She chose the name. Our daughters have two really cute Guinea Pigs and they eat about 5 times their weight in lettuce each week. Somehow Mini Pig popped into her mind.

I have a guina pig named Cooper - got him long before the real MINI. At the time I had two older, very fat piggies and was living at home with my brother and parents. My brother and I took to calling the new baby Mini Pig because he was so tiny. One day we were sitting with Mini Pig trying to think of a name and we both looked at each other and said "Cooper!"
