quickshifter and bushing ?'s

I am looking at the quicksifter that has the collar on it. I want to know if it angles the shifter rearward at all. I am moving my seat way back and lowering the column, and am worried about not being able to reach the shift lever. Does this help at all?

Also, does anyone have the full poly bushing conversion. I was going to do the extra engine stabilizers and switch to all poly suspension bushings. Would installing poly engine mounts with all the rest cause me a ton on interior vibrations? thanks

I have full powerflex engine mounts and tranny mounts along with a TSW Engine damper. and have no noticeable increase in vibrations. Not sure what you mean by a "Quick Shifter".

*Just noticed this was in the classic forum and thus my information may or may not apply to a classic.*

I have one.
To answer the question asked, it does not really move the shifter foreward or backwards like you describe.

Neutral is still in the middle. It just changes the throw into the gears to what seems to be shorter. Thats why its called a "quickshift".

I say move the seat back and install the column bracket and then get used to your new setup.

Good Luck.
