There is a carbon fiber and lexan window that goes just behind the seats that will for the most part seal it off from the engine bay. The cage is a complete cage not your typical roll bar etc... It however may nose up on full throttle and even may pop a wheelie. I will be the first to tell you if it does.

As far as braking it should be fine. They use this frame in full blown race cars in the UK so Im sure it will be up to the task.

With the gas tank right behind the radiator, will vapor lock be an issue?

No Im running a hi flow return fuel system. With the tank being a fuel cell, I shouldnt have any problems. There are a couple of cars running like this that arent even running a cell and no problems.

The build quality looks great. How 'bout those CF eyelids? Cool. I was thinking of this car last weekend while watching the SCCA RunOffs at HPT. There were three GT class Minis competing. Each one had huge flares wrapped around a tube-frame chassis. Classic race machines with body panels attached with cam locks--not works of art like this one, just functional race cars.

The eyelids and the grill were picked up in Tokyo Japan. They would'nt sell to me overseas. I offered to buy them for double the asking price, they said no. Luckily I have a business associate that said he would get them and ship for me. These are the rarest parts on the car. I had the eyes re wrapped in carbon to go with the hood.

Its a WorksBell flip adapter look up High End Camarillo and talk to Ben he can get one for you. They are rare and about $300

The Steering wheel is a SPA with integrated shift lights. I dont believe you can get them anymore. Check SPA technique.
