Hahaha... I love people with huge lifted trucks. 99.995% of them never see as much as the shoulder of a road let alone dirt and rocks! It's always a laugh when some little half-pint climbs up into it too. Saw one the other day where the passenger in the bed threw down a milk crate for the driver to climb up on. Hahaha. Good times.

I'm on O'ahu over in Kaneohe. Been out here since I played Jarhead from 91-94. Liked it so much I came back in 96 and decided it was home!
Whoa... from Aiea to Asheville, NC. Now *that* is some culture shock. No can get poke or laulau!
I've always loved the Mini "big 'n little" photos. I think it was some folks up in Vancouver, BC that took shots next to a huuuuuuuuge mining dump truck. From what I recall the Mini not only fit within the wheelbase of the dump truck, but also fit under it

I should dig the photo of my dads mini parked under Big Foot. Its pretty cool.
I was born on Oahu. I don't remember anything moved to Tennessee when I was 3 or 4 all I have is home movies taken off 8mm film put onto vcr. My mother loves to tell the story of my first time at the lake. I asked her how anyone could surf on the water in the lake.

hey Kamikazy,
Interesting comparison. Amazingly, it appears as though the parking spaces accomodate even the biggest of giants. I presume your photo was not taken in the U.S., where parking garages and parking lots are typically run by greedy private businesses, who in turn squeeze as many fee-based spaces into any location possible. It makes it very difficult to park a car of any size without getting the doors hammered to death those who are less discerning.

Yeah, that happened to me when I went to the auto show in March, parked in the city owned garage and when we came back I could not get in between our Audi and the Volvo wagon parked next to us, and we were both well within the lines of our parking places! it's a good thing we drove the Audi wagon, cause I opened the hatch and crawled in and backed out. If we had been driving a normal sedan, I wouldn't have been able to leave till one of the cars parked next to us moved! So be forewarned, drive your MINI!

Just another great reason to own a hatch! Escape access!
Parking in downtown in KC garages is horrible. AT&T Pavilion is the worst! I don't think they ever changed the space width to accomodate the vehicles of this millenium. To make it worse, I routinely see mid and full size cars taking up 1.5 spaces that are clearly designated as "for compacts only". I guess folks think anything less than an Escalade is a compact these days.
Ok, I'm done. I feel better. Let this thread be a gripe-free zone.
