Today was a wet and cloudy day. Otherwise know as a normal summers day in the UK. This morning twenty members of the Tyred & Exhausted club headed north on the M40 towards the Motor Heritage Museum in Gaydon for the 2007 Mini Festival. On the way to the event my 1275 Metro engine seized up. The two centre values were so hot the paint on the outside of the block burnt. Well this will now give me an opportunity to get a bigger 1380 engine.

After and hour of waiting on the M40 for roadside assistance to arrive the (AA) van towed my baby back home. Soon after Popeye Dan arrived and we shot back up the motorway doing 90+ mph in his 1980 Mini Van. What a ride that was in the rain and spray!
