Anything is possible

Anything is possible, but I've never seen a 'kit' to move the radiator to the front. On my '79 there wouldn't be enough room ... the dizzy is about an inch from the grill, alternator too. Heavy race mods find places to mount coolers....and if you see a VTEC swap, you'll see a from mounted rad' .... but I've never seen a quick and easy change for a 'stock' setup.

Anyone else?

I'b back up and ask why? You have cooling issues?

1. sports pack motor and radiator.

It'll be cheaper to buy another mini with a front mounted radiator.

If overheating in traffic is an issue, you may add a ten inch auxiliary radiator inside the fender well.

This is the later Rover Mini MPI front mounted radiator + electric fan that you would need, but the later Minis had distributorless ignition, different oil filter, the alternator moved up out the way to make room behind the front grille panel. It can be done to an older Mini but space is very tight!

If you stay with a side-mounted rad use the Minispares 4-core one like this:-
4 core rad
With a side rad add the electric fan under the wheelarch as per later side rad Minis but you must keep or upgrade the engine driven fan. eg.The 6-blade fan was for export to hot climates so it is better but a bit noisier than original 16- blade plastic one.
Oil cooler will help in your summer climate, you could fit an oil stat so oil is not overcooled in winter.
Air conditioning was standard factory fit on most 1990s Japanese spec Rover Minis up to 2000, so the parts are available if you search. The air con rad & fan fits in the LH side front wheel arch. Heres a classic Japanese Mini air con compressor on UK ebay:-

There are also some aftermarket conversions available in UK & USA I think.

mixing problems?

I'm confused ... on one hand it seems you want to increase engine cooling....but then you ask about adding a/c ... that will increase engine load thereby adding to the cooling problem.... Are you looking to increase engine cooling to support a/c????

What is your Mini? What Year, engine ... and mods .... how good of shape?

If a late Rover, a/c should be doable. If a MK1 with a small engine ... you might find a unit but is it a good idea?

i think it is MKIV
& the engine 998cc

the engine is Very good & lately I change the electrical system by renewing some old cables & change the fuse box system by changing it from small box of old type fuses to modern one & larger fuse box - to give me more safety in the road

i'm increase engine cooling for the summer heat & i can't drive my mini in the summer @ 40+ C :impatient

this is an old photo ^^

The 4-core rad will fit straight in, very early Minis had a different rad bottom bracket but your car looks late enough for that not to be a problem. Use the bolted on black metal fan cowling from the existing rad. The 4-core rad is slightly thicker so you may have to remove the metal cowl box (spot-welded to the body) from the inner wing panel. This was not fitted to later Minis anyway. If you can see the inner wing panel next to the radiator (with large slots in to the wheelarch) then the cowl is already gone!

In an emergency an old trick is to put your heater valve/fan on for extra cooling! You will get hotter but the engine will get cooler as it brings an auxiliary rad & more water into use for the cooling system.

A spare mini heater rad matrix can be permantely plumbed in within the engine bay if you can find space to put it with some airflow.

If you have removed the thermostat make sure a special blanking sleeve has been fitted otherwise water flow around the engine gets messed up.

Hope this helps.
